Situation

Bygdøy Allé stretches from Solli Plass in Frogner to Sjølyst in Skøyen and is one of Oslo’s most famous streets. The area is characterised by trade, as well as other commercial activities, and is considered a particularly attractive and beautiful area.

Bygdøy Allé 9 is situated down by Solli Plass, just a short distance from all facilities and public transportation. Frogner is a district in the West End of Oslo and covers an area of 8.3 square kilometres. Following the district reform of 2004, Frogner became Oslo’s biggest district by population, but was surpassed by Grünerløkka in 2017. Frogner had 58,283 inhabitants as of 2018, making it the second-biggest district in Oslo.

The district was named after the Frogner residential area and stretches from Aker Brygge and Ruseløkka at the border to the downtown area to the Frognerelva river to the west. To the north, it covers everything from Majorstuen to Suhms Gate, and to the south is Bygdøy, a peninsula that is just barely connected to the rest of the district at the mouth of the Frognerelva river at the heart of Frognerkilen, making up about half of the district’s land area.
